I am having this problem too in DC area and see on Android Market someone gave
the app (which I love) a 1-start rating because of this problem. PLEASE
ADVISE. I need my NPR.

I'll add some test cases to see where this is crashing.
I can estimate GPS coordinates, but if either of you can give me some that are
causing a crash, that would be helpful.

In testing boundary conditions I can't seem to find anything that would cause
this to crash. Could one of you who has experienced this perhaps provide a log
the next time you see it crash? There are apps in the marketplace (search
'logcat') that will do pull this data for you.
For the npr-android-team, can we enable error reports in the market place?

Haven't been able to reproduce the force close issue I initially reported -
perhaps one of the updates has since fixed it.
The station search result list now displays correctly and I'm able to select
KUER, but when I do that I no longer have the option to listen to their live
streams. This is opposed to when I search by their call sign, click the result,
and have the list of streams available to me.
Though I suppose this is a different issue and more of a feature request.

I'm going to close this one out per jeremy's suggestion. We are redesigning
some of the live streaming interface for a 2.0 version, including a fav station
option. Hopefully this will address your concerns
