"received error 1,-2147483648"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open NPR News>Stations>Local Stations> Search> WHAD-FM - 90.7 FM 
Delafield>WPR Ideas Network
2.Listen for a few minutes.
3. Popup "received error 1,-2147483648"
4. Streaming stops

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the player to continue to stream the program. Instead, I have to 
restart the app, and go through step 1 again.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I have full bars of 3G coverage.
Sometimes this also happens after I receive a text message.

This app is not working on my evo (running froyo). I may try to retest at home 
over wifi, however over 4bar 3g at work the app consistently crashes after only 
a few seconds of playback. The error code is as above. 

this is very frustrating, the app worked great for several weeks, a couple 
months anyway, but now does not work. Pandora works fine. Other streaming music 
apps work fine. Just not this NPR app. 

Please fix!

It has been my experience that this issue occurs every time on live streams 
while on 3G, less often while on WIFI. This error rarely occurs, at least for 
me, with prerecorded content.
My phone parameters are the same as listed in comment #2

I believe this type of error handling is legacy and no longer happens post 2.0.
