Write 5 or more new tasks around social networking site functionality. #176

Write at least 5 detailed task suggestions around combining existing
social networking sites with Python.  This can involve

 - creating new applications (in Python) to be hosted through the
   social networking site (e.g. Facebook applications),

 - writing meta-applications (in Python) to manipulate and extract
   information from the sites using existing Python libraries,

 - adding specific (and somewhat ambitious) functionality to existing
   Python libraries,

 - creating new Python libraries.

We strongly suggest discussing your ideas on the ghop-python list before
committing to writing them up in detail; it's your responsibility to make
sure that the tasks are reasonable!

Also note that you will be ineligible to work on the tasks that you write,
for legal reasons.

Completion:

Send your final task suggestions to the ghop-python mailing list and
allow discussion for 24 hrs.  Revise according to suggestions and
attach to this task, along with a pointer to the ghop-python thread.

Task duration: please complete this task within 5 days (120 hours) of claiming 
it.

How detailed do you want the ideas?
Would about ~100 words per idea be too much, or enough?

You can refer to NewTaskGuidelines over in the wiki for some suggestions.  Word 
count
is less important than being specific and providing enough detail about how to
consider the task complete.

OK. Basically, I'll just suggest new tasks for the GHOP Python for other 
students to do?

Yes, that's the idea.  You won't be able to claim any of the tasks you submit, 
and
you'll need to give enough detail that someone else can decide if it is 
complete or not.

Great!  As the task says, once you have some task ideas, post them to the 
mailing
list to solicit feedback.  I (and the other mentors) will watch for your 
messages there.
