Full support of data set attributes #22

Category options should be filtered out based on selected period and start / end dates of category options.

Hi Araz, this is great news to see you guys are working on supporting data set attributes :).

Do you have a rough idea for when the next release of the data capture app could happen.? We are hoping to use it in our organisation, but we need these new features before we can use it - along with the other issues noted below.

I did write to the devs list, but no response!

Hi DataCapture Devs,

We’re looking at the possibility of using the data capture app at MSI, but through testing we’ve noticed a few behaviours stopping us doing so

  • Android forms do not obey expiry days of web form
  • dataset attributes (combo of categories) not selectable
  • data not syncing to / from web forms correctly This is using the latest 1.6 release.

Googling around I found an old thread from Araz (included below under my sign off FYI), saying a roadmap was being re-developed, with the above features hopefully included.

Is there a rough idea of timings for the re-release of the data capture app please?

Hi @dj-palmer,

Please, use https://jira.dhis2.org for bug reports in future. We don't use github issues anymore. I will create corresponding issues for DataCapture in JIRA.

Could you please specify which version of DHIS 2 are you running?
