Annotation does not draw in thumb view #319

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add some annotation
2. switch to thumb view
3. all annotation is disappeared

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
annotation retain in the thumb view

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.0.0

It may be hard due to performance to fullfill this but we will look into this 
and give it a try.
