Does it need to replace DNT or could it maybe be added to it? DNT is not completely dead yet and GPC is slightly different. I would love to get @hfn1's scholarly perspective on this one :)

Still waiting for the dust to settle... It is implemented in FF, but not most other browsers. What are you imagining for ADN's role here?

I was thinking that first of all we implement it exactly like we implemented DNT. Then if we're happy with it we might reach out to those pushing the standard and making an announcement (press release, some media interest). Also maybe add a splash page to explain (and enable) this new feature to existing users.
