AdNauseam crashes on Brave (via email) #2494

Description

Ever since I installed your extension, it seems as though downloaded this app, I’m lucky if I can go a single day without my browser crashing. If I weren’t so in love with the chaos of the ‘click all the ads’ concept, I wouldn’t be able to keep it. As it is, I’m hoping you can help.

There’s no one thing that sets it off. If I close a tab, sometimes it crashes (mostly it doesn’t). If I try and switch between them after staying on one for a long while, sometimes it crashes (mostly it doesn’t). If I try and merge windows, sometimes it crashes (mostly it doesn’t). Seeing a pattern here? Because I have no idea how to make it happen on demand. But it’s only happened since I downloaded this extension.

For the record, I also have the Pincase extension, as well as the paid version of night eye. I have no clue if this is relevant.

Anyway, if you could solve this I’d be super grateful!

PS Thank you for making this extension. Regardless of whether or not I get to keep using it, it’s wonderful to know there are other chaos seeders out there like myself!

I imagine either Linux or Windows? Seems that on this OS we need to run more tests to understand what are the issues

A while back, I messaged you about my browser crashing intensively.

You also asked me to turn off my extensions. It looks like the app doesn’t crash if I turn off Night Eye, which was the outcome I (eye) was hoping for the least. Nevertheless neither science nor debugging caters to our whims, and I’m not gonna be the one who starts tampering with evidence. I hope this helps, and I DESPERATELY hope you can fix this. Good luck mate.

I have so far tested Brave with AdNauseam and Night Eye, and I don't see any running away memory. Waiting for the reply regarding the OS. So far I have only tested on Mac OS.
