hi Daniel, I think this could be rendered interesting. I looked at Automatype and decided that the easiest way to confine it to trigger-related words was to replace the rita dictionary data.
I used https://observablehq.com/@shadoof/automatype-munger to extract all the English words from the 'def' properties of your RotVH triggers.json, then filtered the rita dictionary json for these entries only. Then I pasted this into the relevant part of a copy of rita-full.js in Automatype. (I call this file: rita-triggers.js.)
I also moved p5 dependencies into the lib folder so that shadoof.github.io/Automatype works to show what this hack looks like
It works (flashes only happen for words in the triggers.json file (not actually used) that I have also added to the res folder.
But I think you are constraining length = number of letters for selected words and maybe other things: so perhaps you could look at this and free the typer up a bit?
