E-Mails with Internationalized domain name fail #17

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use a email with a internationalized domain name, which fails but should be 
a correct mail address. See 
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internationalized_domain_name for more details.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
E-Mail should be valid.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
current version (today 2012-11-18).
