Layman's terms for generating x,y,z coordinates of joint for Kinect #22

Hi there,

To be absolutely honest I'm not competent at using MAX/MSP, such to the extent that I don't understand half of the terminology.

Situation: I have downloaded MAX 6 and the dp.kinect software and all the relevant drivers. Everything appears to be working in terms of giving me x,y,z of my centre of mass. Problem: I need Cartesian coordinates of joints (most importantly both hands).

I have followed the wiki as best as I understand it and nothing has changed. Could someone, in very simple terms, describe the journey from having the working software and Kinect in front of me to having coordinate positions of each of my hands.

I understand this is about as far from best practice as it gets, but I really do not have the time to sit down and learn how to do this and how things work.
