Currently, first time messages are only marked with a 1 on the upper right corner. But since first time messages are very important to filter out in an active chat, it should be considered to offer better highlighting (e.g. having a light background in the dark view – or vice versa if light mode is introduced). Could even be made customizable by adding a checkbox to settings.
