Is this on v0.0.18? How do you reproduce this crash? Can you obtain a stack trace (bt
) from gdb
?

Yep I updated to v0.0.18 and noticed it broke, I just run the gtkcord4 command and it gives me the error because I noticed it would open and then crash.
Sure how do I use gbd?
Sorry, could you try the latest pre-release instead? It should have this fixed.

Sure and yep it works now on the pre release
also I notice this issue when playing a embedded mp4 video, I am not sure which gst-plugins package I need but I do have gst-plugins-base and gst-plugins-base-libs and tried gst-plugins-bad but it still doesn't play
I have also noticed this crash for 0.0.18, as well as the crash with playing mp4 videos.
Can a patch release be made containing the fix for this crash? So that we do not have to use another upstream like prerelease or neither have to revert our flatpak installations to get it working at the moment, since 0.0.18 is unusable. Would also help new users who are installing for the first time and are pulling v0.0.18.
v0.0.19 is out now.
Hey thanks for all the hard work, v0.0.19 works tho I still have the playback issue, should I make a new issue report about it? also would it be because I am running the binary from downloads or would it be something else?
Yes, please make a new issue on it.
Your player shouldn't crash when playing MP4s, it should show an error in the worst case. When you make the issue, please be sure to also attach the stack trace of the crash.
Also, make sure you have FFmpeg installed before trying again.
Closing this issue since it's resolved in v0.0.19.
Hey I just wanted to report that the latest version binary for Linux Arm64 which is used in the gtkcord4-bin packager on the AUR is broken, here is my log when I run it and I even deleted the .config folder to try and reset it but that didn't work either. I am using Manjaro Arm64 on a Raspberry pi 4
