packaging for flatpak, and publishing to flathub, will make this app a lot more accessible, and get a lot more eyes / hands on it .

diamondburned commented 4 years ago

PRs are welcomed.

theotheroracle commented 4 years ago

i'll look into it .

@diamondburned can you create github pages link to your repo? It would be better to use it as reverse-DNS id.

justjosias commented 4 years ago

@ceed0 It doesn't need to have a GitHub pages to have an ID. io.github.diamondburned.gtkcord3 can still work as an identifier right?

diamondburned commented 4 years ago

com.github.diamondburned.gtkcord3 should work.

ceed0 commented 4 years ago

@justjosias I think the link should exist to use it in rDNS id.

@diamondburned Alright. I created desktop and appstream metadata files, should I dump everything inside root directory? Also, will you publish it on flathub yourself?

I'm not sure what you should do, honestly. I haven't successfully packaged Flatpaks before.

Also, will you publish it on flathub yourself?

Probably not. Gtkcord3 itself isn't being maintained by me anymore. That said, you're more than welcomed to publish the latest version yourself.

Well, since this project is unmaintained, here's archive with everything needed to build the latest version with flatpak com.github.diamondburned.gtkcord3.zip

How were the generated sources actually generated?
