Thanks for sharing. I have looked at it previously. The changes where done with a hex editor and as such it's not so easy to port, though not impossible. Some of the fixes might be easier to do with out really looking at diablofixed's solution since we have more insight in to if the fix is the proper way to do it or not.

I would say this falls under https://github.com/diasurgical/devilution/issues/64, but feel free to mention it in a comment there if you like.
