This is issue known af Hall of Mirrors: https://doom.fandom.com/wiki/Hall_of_mirrors_effect
There are a few of them known in town even for the original game, but I haven't seen them this ovious or in the caves. Maybe @galaxyhaxz knows if this is expected or what might be the issue.
This is a "feature" from the original game. I have already experienced it in the distant past.
Ok, then no issues with this anymore. Keep the originality of the game, right? 🙂 Btw, thank you very much for your entire work on this project. I am looking forward to finishing the game with all the classes on my Linux machine. Will report everything I find itchy here.
Proposed fix
In caves level 9, I noticed a tearing glitch when moving the character near that particular structure:

I also noticed that if I pause the game and then resume, the yellowish colour from the menu text remained and "replicated itself" in the direction I was moving the character on, leaving yellow spots on that map element.
