Na-Krul quest can not be completed #1514

For an unknown reason, even though I had already defeated Na-Krul, his gate is closed again. To the course of the game I can add that I played the wrong way round. I began to descend as quickly as possible, flipped the Na-Krul lever without reading the latin books, defeated Na-Krul, then cleaned level 4, then 3 and 2 and 1 in reverse order. I also read all the crypt scrolls and the Torn Note in the reverse order. Why the gate closed again is not understandable.

Expected behavior: I still think that the game should recognize that Na-Krul is already dead, so the quest should no longer appear in the quest log and the gate should be open.

Interesting. The way you compleated the game could like not be handled correctly by the game, but I can't say for sure this isn't just devilutionx either. Feel free to test on the original if you have the time to do so :) Either way we should fix this.

How can I run in god mode to test it faster?

Compile a debug build and start it with ./devilutionx -d -^ -$

I tested it on the original Hellfire (wasn't about to attempt to build DevilutionX again, horrific failures the couple of times I've tried, both via mingw on Ubuntu and through Visual Studio on Windows itself...) - the bug described only partially occurs in the original game. Partially because if you go straight to Na-Krul without reading the notes/books with no entry in your journal, throw the switch or read the books and kill Na-Krul, then go back down and activate one of the quest thingies (like reading one of the books), your quest status for Na-Krul is reactivated and his door is slammed shut if you go back to the fourth level. However, while the lever has already been activated and cannot be used again, if you read the books in the correct order, the door re-opens and the quest status is cleared once more.

Additional information. The reconstructed note does not reactivate the quest, only the books in the crypt.
