Register New User Server Endpoint

As a system administrator, I need the front-end form to be able to post user registration to the server for validation and registration So that user account integrity can be maintained.

It is acceptable when...

• The POST message sent to the server contains the following data:
  • Username
  • Email address
  • Password
• Validation is performed on the data sent
  • If the email address already exists on an existing account, a 400 Bad Request is returned with the message "Email address already exists in the system"
  • If the email address already exists in the banned user list, a 400 Bad Request is returned with the message "Email address already exists in the system attached to a banned account"
  • If the username address already exists, a 400 Bad Request is returned with the message "Username already exists in the system"
  • If the password does not match the complexity required, a 400 Bad request is returned with the message "Password does not match the complexity required"
  • If the email address and the username are unique, and the password meets the system password complexity then a 200 Success is returned.
