As a site user I want a landing page for the site so that I can easily navigate to my desires area of the site

it is acceptable when...

there is a screen that acts as the landing page for the site
the screen enables users to navigate to the log in or registration screens
the screen gives a clear impression of the purpose of the site and it's uses
the screen contains a search bar for a general search of all items
the screen contains buttons that allow for refinement of user searches (scale, era, etc)
