@jazzguitarist @nicocorrao @sharatb Let me slightly edit this by saying that I think we want both "simple" and "complex" assets. By simple, we mean ones that don't have do many constituent subjects (e.g like the pillows on a couch). We want to populate the asset list with a bunch of nice-looking realistic-appearing simple objects that experience physics, but which don't necessarily have many complex subparts. But we also do want to do a bunch more of the more complex multi-part objects, like the couch. Probably we want to split our effort 50/50 between the two levels of object detail.
Currently we're looking for simple objects, if we have time at the end we can work on a few more complex objects but that's not something we're as worried about. Nico could you let me know how many objects you think you could have ready for us by the end of the week?
As a side part to this, could you also get some static objects that you think would be hardest on the GPU when being rendered? I need them to make a stress test that stresses GPU calculations and minimizes CPU calculations.
