interesting my 8" kindle fire had no problems (well no more than my other devices) scanning the dice
my kindle fire is a low budget $35 / lower power cpu etc that came out in 2015 has fixed lens rear camera so no focus etc.. did not have high hopes for it running on that device., just thought i would include in test since i had it so can help determine limits of the dicekey app useability etc..
i have been able to successfully scan and have it recognize the dice correctly on 2 different devices so far
samsung s4 running lineage os - android 7.1.2 - both firefox and chrome browsers speed of recognition good
galaxy tablet sm-p605v - android 5.1.1 - firefox / chrome browser had issue (see separate issue) speed of recognition good
amazon kindle fire 7" 5th gen lineage os - android 5.1.1 - chrome unusable - camera is fixed focus can not get macro view of dice - when dice are in focus to far back and image to small to be detected (similar to laptop webcam camera also) - device so low cpu that getting image takes 10 seconds between refreshes (no fault of app / limitation of device)
maybe tweak app to have some kind of button to trigger picture snapshot and then have it try to analyze.. maybe two different modes continuous and manual?
