some questions about calibration #241

Thank you very much DICE group for providing such good software. Sorry, there are questions that have nothing to do with software.

When I get the image size (pixel/mm) through the camera calibration. When performing the subject experiment, do my experiment settings and setup needs to be consistent with those during calibration (such as resolution and SOD)

Are you referring to stereo or single camera DIC? For the single camera case, you will certainly introduce large errors if you don't calibrate the camera in the same configuration as your test set up. For stereo, there is more flexibility with regards to calibrating the cameras outside of your actual experimental setup, but ideally you always want to calibrate your cameras in a way that is as close as possible to your actual experimental setup.
