I remove the Java files (shell Access) because it seems to be less efficient than Jasch Objects. I don't know if we really need to focus over a windows version… We don't use it !!
So maybe we should focus on the mac version for now
Actually, for me a windows compatible version is very important. Not having one is a big hinderance to my pedagogy. Because there are always several students who cannot benefit, and this is a problem. Can we not use win compat objects, even if they are a little less efficient?
yes, I agree…
Maybe we could put a task with milestone 0.0.2 as it's not critical during initial development?
We're using
Now the only external used in span is [shell] which is 64 bits compliant. I create a separate task for the Windows Compatiblity. #48
we need a few abstraction to work with paths and folder, and I use createfolders and getpaths (getenv for windows) from Jasch in the span main patch. I don't put the externals into the repository because I'm not sure that we can do that, Jasch objects are GPL and we don't…
So we have to think about it, and before a final solution, I suggest to have these files locally.
