Hi Didier What a wonderfull tool you have made :-) Is it correct, that it does not work in a PBIX connected live to SSAS? Regards, Henrik

Hi Didier I really dig the possibility to have all the VAR tables in a measure open in separate excel-like windows for debugging :-) My issue was that I was trying to have Sidetools search for a report level measure, that I made for testing. I guess this is not possible? SSAS measure are showing just fine.

Adding Sidetool parameters to measures in order to change the filter context - in order to minimize the number of columns in the Sidetool - must then be done in SSAS I guess. A little more cumbersome than editing the measure in Power BI desktop and see the result in Sidetools right away. Maybee I'm missing some knowledge ... Regards, Henrik

VAR tables in a measure open in separate excel-like windows for debugging : this can be done with DAX debugger within Sidetools
Sidetools search for a report level measure : can you send to me a report so I can test ?
Adding Sidetool parameters to measures in order to change the filter context : Sidetools doesn't change the filter context. There is even no possibility for Sidetools to know the filter context
minimize the number of columns in the Sidetool : you can do it with DBG_TABLE_xxx statement (see documentation here https://thebipower.fr/index.php/2021/04/05/dax-debugger/ )

Hi Didier Thankyou very much for your reply. Sorry for my late reply - got caught up with my dayjob :-) I'll read some more on your documentation, and return with a better explanation. My learning on Sidetool comes only from seeing the 2021 video with you and Reid Havens, and I suppose something new stuff has been added, that I have to read up on :-) Have a nice evening Regards, Henrik
