Textures fizzle to black as objects become more distant. #121

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the OgreKit-executable-r599-win32-No-DirectX.zip
2. Run the OgreKit.exe file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting textures like in the pictures and videos of the momo demo I've seen.

Instead, the textures look fine close up, but as the objects get further away,
the textures kinda fizzle out to black. Possibly a mipmapping problem?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version: OgreKit-executable-r599-win32-No-DirectX
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit sp1
Laptop Dell Inspiron 1750
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330

Please provide any additional information below.
See attached zip for jpeg screenshots and OgreKit.log file.

Can you please try updating your driver to the last version?
I see nothing alarming in the log.

Hiya yep that worked.

I had the latest driver from dell already (8.563.00) but by going to ati's site
here:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx#1

I could download a newer one (8.791.00) as part of the Catalyst Software Suite.
There was an installation error, but the report at the end said all the
components had installed and when I opened the momo demo again the textures
were fixed.

Cheers :)
