Can you post more detail info?
What is your Gamekit revision number & OS type?

If you run OgreKit-executable-r599-win32-No-DirectX.zip in downloads section,
it is working for me on Windows7/ATI card.

Try update your graphic driver, if your driver is old.

It is strange.

Try with Ogrekit-LuaEditor-Win32-r808.zip in downloads section.

There is r808 LuaRuntime execution file.

copy Runtime/AppLuaRuntime.exe to Data folder.
and run AppLuaRuntime.exe.

It is running in opengl mode.

Same result but worst. Using the ogrekit exe at least the sky is a bright white
but the lua runtime gives almost complete darkness

Can you test with lastest revision in trunk?
Ogre version is changed 1.7 to 1.8.

My system is ATI 5770, Windows7 x64, Catalyst 10.12.
but I can't see this issue on OpenGL.

I'm running it on the MacBook Pro, OSX 10.6 NVIDIA GeForce 9400M without issues
as well.

It seems to be a ogre issue as I tried some ogre demos straight from their site
and the current version dont work.

The only demo that worked for me was Magic of Stonehenge which is dated march
2005

This might also be related to your graphic driver. Please make sure to test
with the latest version from
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

Well, all things considered, if it is happening with the OGRE demos, there
isn't much that can be done here. I'd recommend you mention the issue to those
over at OGRE.

Not only is it going to be difficult to reproduce the problem here given the
lower number of developers - it is also not going to be possible to fix it
here. Ogre is used pretty much without change here, any fix needs to be done at
the graphic engine source.

Switch the ATI Catalyst A.I. entirely off:

Catalyst Control Center, Gaming, 3D application settings, Disable Catalyst A.I.
