After standby, the toggle create a new instance instead opening an existing one #2

After waking up from standby mode, toggling the terminal will create a new terminal instance, instead opening the existing terminal instance again. Looks as if some handlers to the existing terminal get lost, when doing a standby-wakeup cycle...

I couldn't reproduce that here. Have you tried it with the latest version in the main branch?

Thanks for checking. yes, i use the latest checkout from main.

... but since i'm on ubuntu 23.10 (beta) the issue probably is related to the gnome beta version on my side... maybe close this ticket - if the problem persists after final release, i can recreate it
