The current implementation is complete, but slow.

Also makes the following improvements:

Use a definition list for the homepage statistics
Add a simple component to display the result of a request as plain text

Closes #60

Looks good to me, but iirc we had some product level questions on this story.

Did we resolve those questions? If not, is there a place I can find them so we can talk about them in IPM tomorrow :)?

We did not resolve those questions. I got no response on Slack, and proposed that any follow-up tasks be specified as separate issues.
