I would like to know when you are reading these data, while the ignition is on or also while the car is turned off and closed ?

I need a solution for closed and turned of or at least to read soc and range while arriving at home and then using the values inside home assistant or / and evcc. Thanks a lot

Hi! Sorry, the notification mail got lost in my spam folder.

My solution is only active while the car is on, otherwise the car alarm will go off. It doesn't like OBD-readings while locked and also the 12V battery get's empty pretty quickly. I integrated my Golf to HA directly with the car's online services, was it worth to me having the app and all the data.
