Reading your previous updates, this project seems super interesting and the methodology reminds me a little of my project, where we are marking up books and chapters of the Iliad! I was wondering how you're going to present the text on your site (or plan to/what ideas you have) because it seems like it'll be a lot of text. I only wonder to see if you have any ideas that could be useful for my project because we haven't quite progressed to this point. Either way, your progress is looking great!
Hey, this seems like an amazing project and I cannot wait to see the results. I was wondering if you were thinking of using TEI at all to address the biographies or any other information such as the date in which the texts were written. It seems like it could add a lot for these longer texts. Also, the network analysis through Cytoscape seems like it could be a useful tool to show relationships between one text to another or the way in which a paradox could work. This might make it easier for the user to understand your interpretation or that of the author.
Sam marked up chapters 3 and 5 according to the schema and revised XML markup of chapter 1 according to the new schema. Hanwen did markup of chapter 4 according to the schema but accomplished during meeting. We talked about some interestings features of website design like faded text at top with Zhuangzi quote that is different each time and Ella will look into that. We planed to add biography of zhuangzi and further reading to our website. In next week, hanwen will have relevant Confucian texts marked up for side by side view, mark upchapter 7and revise Chapter 2 according to schema. Sam will change Roman numerals to Arabic numerals in elements, add more detailed markup to chaper3 and 5, and mark up chapter 6.
