Last week, I marked up chapter 6 and updated some of my previous markup to match the schema we were using. Hanwen did the same with the chapters he was assigned, and in addition, looked at and marked up some selected Confucian texts, in line with the new scope and guiding research questions of our project, which involve comparing and analyzing Zhuangzi's works as a reaction to the confucian dogma of the time. During the meeting, we updated our schema to accomodate figurative language, a frequent and important element in the Zhuangzi. We also discussed the design of our website, and created a simple wireframe for the homepage. Our general goals for the next week were to finish our markup of the Zhuangzi, and create wireframes for the homepage. My specific goal was to draft an about page for the website, and Hanwen's was to further markup the Confucian texts, explaining the concepts of the text selections in comments.
