which version of the app are you using?
With 2.0.6 the app should ask you about local network permission when first time accessing dashboard page is this the case?
That way the Shelly devices are discovered instantly via mDNS.
You can however also specify a network IP range in the search settings.

I’am using version 2.0.6 and allowed the app searching the local network. But it doesn’t find anything. With older versions off the app it worked fine

Have you tried changing the IP range as suggested? Does the original Shelly Cloud App find your devices? Does the IP address of http://yourshellyip/status -> wifi_sta -> ip match ?

Yes, tried to change the IP range as suggested. The original Shelly Cloud app finds the devices.

What devices are you using? New NG generation is not supported fully yet. Otherwise can you send me a video from installing until searching to di.gausma@googlemail.com

I'am using Shelly 1L and Shelly Plug S devices and what I wrote, it worked with the previous version and with the actual version on all IOS devices it doesn't. I will wait for a next update and try it then

2 years ago Hi, i had the same issue in the android app. Devices worked fine in previous version, but after update the app couldn't detect them anymore. I had to temporarily disable the login protection (in the web interface of the shelly 'Internet & Security' -> 'Restrict Login') in order to make them discoverable in the app again. Once added in the app, i could re-enable the login protection (they were correctly shown as locked in the app then) and enter the credentials for the respective devices in the app.

2 years ago @B1ackAdd3r Very valuable information there! It was indeed an issue with locked devices. Since all my devices are open I did not experience this. Will prepare a release now. Thank you very much for the input :)

Hi,
I have updated iOS to the latest version and also updated the Shelly Hone app. When searching the devices the app doesn’t found devices anymore… installed the new version of the app on a new device and gave all Access it needed on iOS bit also no devices where found. Is it possible to specify devices manually?
