Syscheck, press B to not save- wiimote loss sync, ios disappear #15

What IOS did you use?
Default scan wii (ios36?)
and
Ios250, scan wii

What is the first 4 digits of your Wii's Serial Number?
Korean 3.3K region changed to 4.1u

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Select scan wii, scan the wii, then press B to skip report
2.Select ios250, scan the wii, skip the report
3.Possibly other ios, have not checked

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected the app to return to dop-mii menu. Instead, wiimote lost sync. Was
able to return to main menu with gc-controller. After this, all ios showed
up as uninstalled if done from ios250 and any ios install failed with nus
error -6, or wad not found. When done from default menu, all ios give "use
trucha enabled ios", all ios are given as option, even stubes.
Please provide any additional information below.

This started while reinstalling ios60 without patches. I reinstalled the
ios60 without patches, deleted some others, then ran scan the wii- all
under ios250 (cios38-r17). The wiimote lost sysc, so I switched to the
gc-controller. I intended to install 4.1u, but when I when to the system
menu, it said ios60 was not installed. I tried to install it agian from
NUS, and it failed with -6 (I think, perhaps -3). This caused me some
concern, so I put the wads onto usb but it failed with wads not found.
Backed out to main menu, tried to select another ios- all failed with use a
trucha enabled ios. I had ios36 without trucha, so I selected to install
ios36 with fakesign, said ios36 is not the current ios, reloading... crash.

So I took a deep breath and rebooted, everything was fine. Loaded dop-mii,
scanned the wii, ios60 was installed without patches, etc. If I run
syscheck and exit out halfway, it is fine, but if I press B to skip the
report, the wiimote losses sync and all ios are gone. I can reproduce the
issue.

I have not tried to write the report, so I don't know what happens.
Dop-mii v12, loaded from HBC, the official release version.

I'm not sure what is causing the WiiMote issue, but I have heard about it from
other
people. I think it may be caused by loading the WiiMote on an older IOS midway
through the check. It could also be a timing issue with the IOS and the Wii.
It's
really hard for me to replicate the problem as well as others so I have a
feeling
it's a problem with newer Wiis loading older IOSes. I'm either hoping libOGC
1.8.3 or
this other potential fix for the next release will fix the Sync issue.

As far as IOSes disappearing I'm not sure what you are talking about. This is a
first
and if I cannot reproduce the problem I won't be able to fix it.

When I say disapper- I mean this. If I select ios250 (r-17)then go into ios,
mios,
bc- all Installed ios versions are displayed. I can install, delete, etc. If I
back
out of ios, mios, bc and goto scan the wii- the scan complets as normal, then
it
asks to save report, or not. When I hit b to skip the report, the wiimote lost
sync.
Now I hit b with the gc-controller, and enter ios, mios, bc again. All
installed ios
display not installed, and I can not install anything or delete anything. If I
backout to the main menu and try to select ios250 or any other ios- all ios
give "please use ios with trucha bug".
It seems to duplicat well for me, I will run through it again and see what my
other
options give.
Also, this wii supports older ios, but most ios are up to date.

Sounds like it's not reloading IOS250 at the end for you. Which means the
reason it
"disappears" is because the older IOSes do not allow me to get the TMD. I do
have a
fix for that already, just not published as of yet. You can exit dop then go
back in
and it should show the versions just fine again.

This and other syscheck issues should be fixed now.
