9 years ago might want to start with the new branch of Islandora that uses fedora 4 because fedora 4 has the possibility of federated servers, which would be great for the Hawaii Communitiy Media Project.

9 years ago Have installed tomcat on dahicolo
I have tried to install islandora from scratch (https://github.com/ryersonlibrary/islandora_chef) on digiah001 and also from the chef recipe (https://github.com/ryersonlibrary/islandora_chef). both fail. Have put in about 20 hours trying to get it to work. It might just be that the install needs to be on a 64bit machine. Maybe ask Gwen to ask someone to help us get a working install from scratch on the new server.
