Need to plan this out. including seed grant. find out about ASUH grants

Reached out to a friend of his who is happy to give us an introduction. In three bullet points, what are we inviting him out here to do? also - will start poking around RE ASUH grants.

@damg70 can you make any of these? We can probably get funded if so. I might have to go though as I think there must be faculty.

SAPFB SPRING 2016 FUNDING AVAILABLE In order to receive a funding application, a representative from your group, department or program MUST attend an information session. RIOs, Departments and Programs will be walked through the funding application process and go in-depth with the types of expenses the board can and cannot fund. There are only three information session this semester. All will be held in Campus Center Room 308 on the following dates: Saturday, August 29, at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, at 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, September 5, at 10 a.m. Please visit the Funding page on our website or click on the following link for a full listing of the information sessions. http://manoa.hawaii.edu/sapfb/funding.html

I could do Wednesday the 2nd. Can't do this or next Saturday because I'm caught up in prepping for primo's hula competition... This Saturday in hike into a valley to retrieve materials and next Saturday is his competition.

I should attend with you.

@damg70 Weds. September 2 5:30 works for me too. Talked to Monisha about and she said it is actually good to have someone registered as a student involved.

Network for support with Lisa Yamada, Flux magazine , Summit, Ikaiaka Hussey's Summit: quarterly hawaii based lifestyle mag, proposal Dean Arnade, Seed, ELectrical Engineering chair, Wayne A. Shiroma, Jaimey Hamilton Faris, intersections, art. iLab People, Vernadette (honors, Hawaii American Studies Association). Ethnic Studies, American Studies, Music. Masa, HCC Music businesss.

Need two paragraph boilerplate to adapt and send out.
