@damg70, @rcrath ... compose boilerplate invitations for: Julia (Archive of Silence), Jeannette (Blues Women), Kelsey (web site relaunch), Alex Mawyer (MIPI), Christina Higgins (Language Mapping).

Secure catering stuff $150 budget - @damg70 will start that process monday

Reserve History Library for Event - @damg70 will do this today (10/6)

  1. individual invitations sent... even if invitees can't make it we will still present their project.

  2. Seminar room reservation made...

  3. mass mail and UH calendar event will be done by end of day

  4. next step, catering snacks.

@rcrath @kelseykato Is the rocket poor taste given the current state of the Doomsday Clock... I don't think so... consider it an escape rocket, à la "When Worlds Collide" (1951) ... oh, wait..........
