Digital work, tenure and promotion recommendations

What sorts of recommendations can we make to administrators and departments in regard to counting digital work toward tenure and promotion? How would we approach the peer review process? What would be the criteria?

want to discuss this over lunch meeting in Fall 2015 (#29). To do this, we need to invite some advocates, but also some people with the ability to effect the changes necessary to make digital work count at the departmental level, or at least put the criterria in place to make it possible to make it count. So we would need to get some Department chairs and maybe Dean Arnade to come to the meeting. To do this effectively we would need to put together a committee of faculty to work on it.
