Right now, we use university supported google docs. I would like to install participad once the wp install is ready to go (#33) on dahi to try that out. Other options are CWRC Writer (see #3), Ockham at Stanford Humanities + design Git Repo. authorea, draft, and editorially. I would imagine there are more, including a modded buddypress Commons in a box (#9) and commentpress.
