Project is now in stable ALPHA. http://www.hawaii.edu/arthum/digital/kanikau/ Up next: 1) Noelani provides actual words for valence 2) Noelani provides specific words that will trigger images (or any other supplementary data, really) to be displayed. 3) Noelani approves "final" alpha before departing for DC

Latest update: remotely accessing wehewehe.org isn't going to work because you can't do cross-domain ajax requests. period. that is a solid dead end unless we reach out to whoever is maintaining wehewehe and see if there is a workaround... or they are contemporary enough to do this: https://learn.jquery.com/ajax/working-with-jsonp/

ok, close this without it once the rest is done. We can move the ajax part to #101 and I'll assign myself to getting that outreach started.
