What version of gwt and gwt-incubator are you using?  2.0.1
What OS and browser are you using? Ubuntu Linux 10.4
Do you see this error in hosted mode, web mode, or both? Both

The POM file located at 
http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/com/google/gwt/gwt-incubator/2.0.1/gwt-incubator-2
.0.1.pom is malformed: the <description> tag is not correctrly closed.
