When adding a lyrics, Anything that is not timestamp in [] , freezes the player(audio still plays) #1186

Reproduction steps

Observed behavior

When player reach the above example [verse 1: Olly Murs], 2 things happen.

  1. Lyrics scrolls down to bottom.
  2. Player freezes for a few seconds (audio still plays)

Desired behavior

Ignore the text or show the content in the []

@duluu234 I can't reproduce this issue here. Could you send me the lyrics text that you're using when having this issue? Thank you.

For some reason. I can't recreate it now. I cleaned my laptop and changed my thermal paste recently, so i guess my computer was under performing at the time. The lyrics I used was this. https://genius.com/Olly-murs-moves-lyrics They use Square Brackets to indicate Verse.

But still, The Text in the Square Brackets still goes to bottom. like this (still on 2.0.3) image
