music stops when screen off - windows 10 surface pro 3 #356

when screen blanks, as per power settings, (to save battery) music stops with Dopamine. Groove continues to play with screen off.

Otherwise really like Dopamine.

I just gave a test on Windows 10 RS1, but everything is fine either screen blacks out itself or even I hint Win+L to lock the screen.

Maybe a device restriction?

hmm, strange, given Groove does continue playing on the same device? I agree may be a peculiarity associated with Surface Pro 3? Must be quite a common device for a music application though.

It can REALLY be. I forgot to mentioned that I tested on a lenovo laptop with Windows 10 RS1

Groove does continue playing on the same device?

And Yes undoubtedly.

I have the same issue with a Samsung TabPro.

Facing same issue with Surface Pro 6. Groove continues to play with screen off, but that music player sucks. Dopamine puts Groove to shame.
