I'm using these versions

Windows version: 7 Ultimate Dopamine version: 1.5.14 Release Keyboard: Logitech G213 Keyboard software: Logitech Gaming Software 8.96.88

Observed behavior

The Pause button (from keyboard) is not working properly. If you press it the song only pauses while the button is pressed, resuming after releasing it.

Desired behavior

Songs should pause/resume no matter how long the keyboard's pause button is being pressed.

I'm afraid this persists in 2.0.3, and is in no way specific to the G213 keyboard. My Microsoft Natural Ergonomics 4000 keyboard is equally affected.

Thankfully, this can be worked around by enabling the "Enable default multimedia key support" preference in the Behaviour tab. I suggest to enable that preference by default.

Unless there are keyboards which have a keyboard dedicated to pausing and the Play button works fine there, I recommend retitling this ticket to "Global media key Play/Pause handling broken (cancelled when depressed)",
