These are ideas sent by a user. The ideas are based on iTunes. Check out how iTunes handles playlists.

For windows I've found the best add-to-playlist-from-track functionality is in MS Windows Groove. I went through an extensive check of all the players (Media Monkey, Clementine, Groove, VLC etc) and Groove was the best. I was making a BIG playlist for a two week sailboat race and wanted an easy way to make it.

Of course Groove is useless because Microsoft then creates the playlist in a proprietary format, that isn't exportable and isn't discoverable and thus useless for any other implementation except within the confines of Groove.

The playlist should be in M3U.

Anyways check out Groove's implementation.

@gregoftheweb Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out.

Also map the workflow to some hotkeys.

Makes for MUCH faster playlist creation, all from the keyboard.

Please please add a way to export playlists in m3u format. That would be a great help
