Moved from Freenode to Libera.Chat #391

I created #btrbk channel on irc.libera.chat, and will observe the situation with freenode. I will still be present on irc.freenode.net, as long as the situation allows it.

The official IRC channel for btrbk will be moved to irc.libera.chat soon, we apoligize for the inconvenience.

Why?

Libera.chat promises independence and a free place to discuss open source projects, which sounds promising and worth to support:

Since Wednesday 26 May 2021, the channel #btrbk on freenode is not under my control any more. As of now, the official IRC channel for the btrbk project is on irc.libera.chat.

While the channel seems still to be available to the public, I do not have operator status any more, and thus am not able to control the channel.

Sadly things have changed quite fast, and a chapter of the evolution of the internet has closed. I've been present on freenode since the beginning (?), and typed millions of characters into this platform. Rest in peace.
