It would be possible to set up a very generic system for indexing Awesome Lists, if that turns out to be in scope.

Take a parser like Marko or Mistletoe, and e.g. create an alternative renderer that outputs e.g. static site, SQLite for Datasette, etc.
Wrap it up as a GitHub Action so it's easy to re-use.
Possibly even crawl the links and add the text to the index.

Not clear this is in scope. Just an idea.
