Unable to output serial over ACM device #106

I am using the Digispark examples with a spark connected to linux 5.5 machine. When I run the echo cdc example, everything is fine.

Running the CDC print example shows only the first character of the string, and the linux kernel shows an error "]cdc_acm 3-6:1.0: failed to set dtr/rts"
