Mission

Deploy Smoke tests for http://digital-land.info via GHA Pipeline

Tech Approach

Get existing approach (using AWS CLI) on feature/smoke-tests branch working consistently
Consider using a pre-existing GitHub action if existing approach is problematic
Automatically deploy to Development and Staging environments
Require approval for Production environment
Provision new separate smoke canary in addition to existing uptime canary
- Use smoke canary in AWS CodeDeploy deployments (blue-green)
- Use Canary schedule for uptime canary

Acceptance Criteria

Existing smoke tests work on AWS Synthetic Canaries
Canaries are expanded to more key URLs
Once deployed, present method to Providers developers so they can begin to run their platform tests through the platform
