Is it possible for every entry had its own unique (short) URL that people could link to--maybe something like iris-database.org/848739 to avoid the long string in the link

"best practice would be to add an identifier (like a DOI). When using DOI the metadata can only be changed by the British Library. ARX (is this how it’s spelt) as less rigid. This would be best done when migration to Hyrax happens. No DOI for NCELP materials - better to have something meaningful i.e. with relevant labels not numerical code
