Hi Frank

I am trying to add one more materias' author to this record, It looks as if the changes have been saved but are not visible (there should be 3 authors in total)

I found that this object wasn't searchable and get it fixed now. I'm not sure what you mean 3 authors here, did you mean creators or authors of publication?
