We would like to see:
- Total number of downloads
- Downloads per summary
- Downloads per journal
- Relationship between downloads and download survey

Requirements
As an Admin I would like be able to access information about summary downloads efficiently. I would liek to see the following information:
General information
How many summaries
How many total downloads (number)
How many total downloads over time (visualisation nice, but not crucial)
Breakdown of total downloads by the download survey (who is downloading our summaries)
How many downloads per category (metadata field): Journal of publication (Language Learning, Tesol Quarterly, etc.)
Downloads per summary
The data is for admin, not public. The only thing we would like to be public is the total number of downloads. This could be a counter on the homepage.
Note Total downloads at the moment means unique user downloads per 30 days as the number is tethered to the download survey. This likely underreports usage as users might download multiple summaries per month. This is quite likely, as I have heard from several people they click on multiple newsletter links. Implementing an accurate way of counting downloads is important.
Rationale
We need to be able to access this information to share with our funders, to present to academic and non-academic audiences, and as engagement information for some journals and their publishers, allowing them to engage their authors in order to submit more summaries to OASIS service, such as for example Language Learning etc.
Related issue
We collect basic google statistics data, however, those are only page views not downloads clicks on the links.
